Working on adenovirus and bacteriophage fibres, which are the proteins these viruses use to recognise their host cells. Interested in applying this knowledge to direct adenoviruses to specific cells and bacteriophages to specific bacteria. Collaborates in solving other interesting protein, peptide and natural product crystal structures, including endolysins, cyclic peptides and enzyme-inhibitor complexes.
